New versions of IFC and IFC Transit Models

If you use Bimeye to enrich models during the project and will receive new versions of the IFC files from the original design models you should use the option "IFC Transit Model".

"IFC Transit Model" is set on "Models" in Bimeye.

Click "Models" under "Action & Models". Click on model that represents the IFC connected.

Click "Edit" on model page.

Tick "IFC transit model" and Click Save.

It is very important that objects keep their IFC GUIDs after a new export. Most design tools will have no problems with this but designers & engineers need to change or switch their objects rather than delete them if they want to get the enriched data in Bimeye to still apply to the same object. If the Architect deletes a door and then places a new door at that location Bimeye will regard it as a new door and any data associated with that door will not be enriched on the new one automatically.
